I love to see Hurricanes on the MIMIC-TPW loops. Such a fast spin! Looks like Earl is well on the way as well.

The motion overnight shifted a little to the left probably in response to that ridging between the trough and Danielle. Danielle should slow and give the trough some time to pull her out but Bermuda must be feeling a little uncomfortable during the wait.

It sure looks like it took a turn to the left.

Wow looking good this morning. And yeah it looks like a little wobble west off the
NHC track, she'll probably wobble back sometime today. :P

You can't read too much into those short-term wobbles. The trough that is going to pull her is well established, and Bermuda looks to be out of danger. Must be uncomfortable though.

Looks like a degree from the eye to the dense overcast clouds - indicative of a 6.0 in the original Dvorak method when you have an "eye pattern". An expansion from 3/4th of a degree we saw much of the day yesterday.

What a wonderful looking hurricane today, recon will indeed have a treat when they go in during the next few hours, probably will see some pretty impressive winds.

O town, its typical that I have work just as recon goes into the system, I might just see the first pass through though I suppose!

Very neat looking hurricane, this is exactly the type of system everyone has been watching for I think!

Funny, she doesn't have that "hitting the wall" look in the mid level clouds for a storm that is going to take a hard right.

Yeah sure is taking a decent westerly wobble, though I think the turn is only in a matter of time, but may well be going to the west of the forecast points.

Yeah I'll miss it as well crazy, but to be honest I don't think it'll find any real surprises, looks like a solid enough Category-4 right now, maybe pressures down to say 940mbs or so.
