Interesting double blob presentation now, reminds me of what Charley looked like when it was developing in the Caribbean before its Cuba landfall...
15.6N seems reasonable enough, will probably gain latitude now its got a stronger inner core.

HI KWT - any view as to the time frame for the gain in latitude?

Nothing too major for a little while yet, the weakness isn't till 60W so any gains now will be small, hence why I think we are going to see a direct hit upon the NE Caribbean, not even a close call but a hit, possibly even a landfall but thats alot dependant on the exact location of the systems center which at 48hrs out is still a little to ofar away to have any confidence in.

Sorry guys, but this looks like it's dipping well south of the TFP's if you ask me. May not make much of a difference in the long term, but certainly will in the short term!

If Earl stays west until 60-65 at this latitude he will hit the Hebert (AY-bear) box.
Cycloneye--take care in PR---it is getting closer and closer to a hit for you.

So that mean that Guadeloupe might be in Earl's path?
