Hi from Las Piedras, Puerto Rico (close to Humacao - center east coast).
Looks like we're in for a lot of rain and some wind. I just canceled my (work) trip to Bayamon for tomorrow.
I'll try to post some first hand observations and photos tomorrow.

We lost power this afternoon and it hasn't been back since. Radio is reporting that lightning struck the power plant but I haven't heard anything official yet.

San Juan PR is a little closer from the eye as of the 11 PM advisory. At 5 PM it was 130 miles.

Results for San Juan, Puerto Rico (18.45N, 66W):
The approximate Closest Point of Approach (CPA) is located near 19.8N, 64.8W or about 119.8 miles (192.8 km) from your location. The estimated time of when the center of the storm will be at that location is in about 25.3 hours (Tuesday, August 31 at 0:18AM AST).

oh geeesh cyloneye! i don't even want to look to see about how this will affect Anguilla and St. Martin that were only 40 miles away from it before. Let's hope it doesn't get any close to you guys over there Luis!
