having a hard time believing it takes 10 days for this trek into the GOM.....that would be like watching paint dry...

92L gets stuck under the same ridge that traps Igor. Igor heading basically W to WNW under the ridge.

92L shoots through the weakness then shoots west into the Gulf, so time wise, it makes sense.

One thing you can say, EURO has been consistent with Mexico run

I'd like to know how the Euro shoots this due west into Mexico with no ridging in the Gulf and rapidly lowering pressures over Texas.
