Prayer Request for cajungal

#1 Postby LaPlaceFF » Mon Sep 13, 2010 3:52 pm

I have found out thru the weather boards about one of our members (nick cajungal).

Quoted from the original post

Her real name is Trish. Trish has dealt with abdominal pain for quite some time without ever having any real answers until recently. A few days ago, she had a colonoscopy. It revealed 2 areas of mass and 1 blockage so she was immediately admitted into the hospital. The 2 masses were investigated and were found to be tumors. She was put on antibiotics for the blockage, however it has not yet helped.

Trish will be undergoing surgery later today. As of right now, there is nothing set in stone, however everyone is praying that it is not cancer. It's possible it could be a very bad case of chrohn's disease.

Let's all keep her in our prayers and hope for her full recovery through this.

Durel, thanks for letting us know. Trish hasn't been around much lately. I remember her complaining about he problems a few years ago and iirc she thought it was irritable bowel syndrome. Prayers coming in from Houston for a speedy recovery and that no cancer is found. Please keep us posted if you find out anything else.

Trish had her surgery yesterday and the results came back NEGATIVE for cancer. Also, the two masses were NOT tumors. They were masses of endometriosis. That is what has been causing all her pain. So at least it's something that can be treated somewhat in terms of pain control! Thank God!

Yes indeed! I'm so glad that it's been finally diagnosed and it's treatable.

Oh goodness, God Bless her, and you LaPlaceFF, for posting this when you are doing your own battle! Having had a similar experience, will keep her in prayer, and you too!
