It looks like plane may find a TD when it reaches the center as west winds are at Hunduras.

57 kt FL, 996.5 mb pressure. Probably around 50 kts...

66kts at flight level on last set and has not reached center.I think the next set will reach it.

Yeah or just be short....but either way thats very high winds given the pressure, microwave suggests an eyewall already in place and Dvorak estimate of 5.0 does suggest this is probably a hurricane but we will see just how high it goes!

Thanks! Is there a chart somewhere giving the break downs? I never can remember what they are
SMFR did pick up a nonflagged wind of 57 knots, which for once lines up perfectly with the flight level reduction (56.8 for 80%). Perhaps they should bump it up to 60 knots, encase stronger winds were not sampled (only 3 knots higher from those already found). Even if it is not at 60 knots right now, I'm sure within a few passes it will have strengthened some.
