At H-48 it closes off a low in the eastern carribean. Per brownsville,Tx discussion this may very well be a GOM storm.

Woohoo another GOM - just want we need. Will be curious to see if this one verifys and heads to the GOM.

Perhaps a Labor Day Weekend Storm for someone in the GOM.

ETAX has this system moving through the NW Caribbean and just South of Cuba heading for the Gulf in 168 Hrs. Though why do I get the feeling the scatter among the models will be very high the next fewl days:):)
