Inland Cuba or inland Florida?
I think inland Cuba so they won't be able to fly over it.

This really is a non-event...a little rain, a little breezy....most of the weather will pass to the east of S FL

I agree but its just going to miss to the east really too close for comfort.

Though it does not have an actual center, at least this morning visibles look like a sheared developing TC as opposed to random blobs of clouds.

In Myrtle Beach, they are forecasting 7-11 inches of rain. Wind or no wind, that much rain is a big event.

I am in SE Broward. My husband averaged 30 mph on I-95 on the way to work this AM. My swail is flooded. It isn't going to get any better.
First, I would suggest a disclaimer for the original forecast, as it is just one person's opinion. Second, "Bear" are you a SFLA newbie or something? I've been hip deep in my front yard, and rain events are not pleasant in this part of the country.

Is this system really tropical at all or just a trough? A depression stretching from Central America to New York is what it looks like now. To me it looks like there is an upper level low right on top of this system.
