I copied this from another site where Durel posts. I hope he doesn't mind.
David has begun on his shots that will boost up his cell production. Monday they will begin the harvesting of his cells. Friday I will have the line put back in and then 2 rounds of high dose chemo and radiation for 3 days. If all goes well on the 14th I will get David's stem cells. I will be here for 100 days after transplant but my goal is to come home sooner. Thanks to everyone for their prayers!!!

Thank vhoutex(sp?)

They will begin harvesting his stem cells Monday. Right now his body is aching, a sign that his bone marrow is producing the stem cells we need. Friday I get admitted to the hospital and begin the high dose chemo and radiation and then on the 14th I will get his stem cells

I'm updating this from Durel's facebook account. He has had two rounds of chemo and some radiation and
Durel is doing better.He will get his transplant thursday.
A friend of his(his girlfriend?) is keeping the facebook account updated while he is in isolation(??).

Latest update on Durel.
Durel finished his transplant at 2:00pm.He will know if it took in 1-2 wks.HE is doing excellent.I will keep everyone posted.Thanks for your prayers.
