Kimmirut is near lat. 62N long 69W
Iqaluit is near lat. 63N long. 68W.
Both places are in Southern Nunavut territory in Canada's far north.


i noticed that as well nicko, neither does Kimmirut, norms for this time of year are around minus 3C 27F for highs, they are still running well above that during the days. Kimmirut reached an astonishing 8.8C 48F today, and was still hovering near 7c 44F at both places tonight (under moonlit skies )

But thats not to say snow hasnt fallen for the season, it has, and briefly whitened the grounds, and mountain sides at Kimmirut Harbour, but it just hasn't lasted. Quite unusual this late into October. The harbour is still ice free.
