Oh my, how much things change in couple months. This may sound heartless, but it seems as though our house is only like a cat motel. They appear and disappear. Lovey and Mr.Gray just disappeared without a trace. The kitten mentioned above went out one day and never came home. Good old Lulu, though, she keeps on coming back and half of the time she comes back pregnant. Well she just had another litter, this time two. They don't look like Gadget, our other long timer.

I have about $600.00 saved up so far, because I really have my heart set on a scottish fold kitten. So I'm going to have to get it from a breeder, but it's worth it to me. I hear from everyone that has had one that they are so affectionate and loving, and that's the kind of cat I want.

Now, there are those that say, why not get a regular kitten from the pound? My answer to that is IF I were to get another cat, I would get a scottish fold, otherwise I just wouldn't get one at all. I just don't want to take a chance on getting a cat that doesn't want anything to do with people and is really mean.....I know that can happen with any kitten, but after doing all the research, I realized that my chances of getting a loving affectionate cat are increased if I get the scottish fold breed. When I get an animal, I keep it for life.. My current cat who's 18 years old will tell you that, hehe...

No we are not going to keep her. We need to do something decisive, as this makes a total of 5 cats around. Lovey is an outside cat who more or less adopted us and lives under the front porch. Mr. Gray is Lovey's son who had so much character we had to keep him. Lulu is the mother of this kitten. She showed up at our daughters house a couple years ago and I don't know how she got over here. Gadget is Lulu's son from a previous litter. We kept him because his twin brother Gizmo died in a tragic clothes dryer accident. This latest kitten looks just like Lulu, and we think that Gadget is the father, and also a half brother. We need to get these cats fixed in a hurry or else we're going to be in a lot of trouble. If these were people we'd be on Jerry Springer! Actually I know some people who should have been fixed too.

When I was a child we had purebred Cairn Terriers - the first litter our female had consisted of one puppy.

And, I am sorry about the "dryer accident" but I am glad to find out I am not the only one that has happened to!
