That's wonderful news David. Your niece, though will be allowed to go home, will be living at the hospital while her babies are still there.

She did go home yesterday. Doc has told her not to live at the hospital, but we will see how doctor telling the doctor what to do will work. Besides being strong these women are all control freaks.

Straight from facebook!!
The girls are doing well. Blake is now totally off of oxygen and should be transferred to the level 2 NICU with Avery later today!!!! Avery is still behaving like a star. She is eating more and more each day from the bottle. In fact, her IV was discontinued yesterday, so no more IV fluids or feeds even. Both dropped to under 4 pounds, but are again gaining. We are proud of both of their progress.
We have been so blessed! Thanks everyone for your continued support!!

Latest update. Things are going well!!
The girls are doing great! Avery was promoted to 8 'ad lib' bottles a
day today, meaning she is allowed to eat more than 40 mL if she want to.
She has been taking her bottles in less than 10 min and acting like she
would eat more. Today, she took 45 and 55 mL for me. She may get her
feeding tube removed later today and may also go to the open crib
tomorrow or Sunday. We have at least 5 more days before she can come home
because she had an apnea at 3 am today, but we are getting close!
Blake is now up to 6 or 7 of 8 bottles a day and had her last apnea on
11/4. The neo keeps saying "maybe next week."

Just wanted to give another update on my grand nieces. They are both doing well and gaining weight. One is 6ib. 9 oz. and one is 6lb 4 oz. We truly have much to be thankful for.
