FYI, if anyone was curios, Typhoon Hunter will not be going to Okinawa, he is heading S to Java to cover the volcanic eruption there. His update is at typhoon fury.com

Chaba seems to be strengthening fast, there's no way it's only 110 kt, very cold cloud tops, great outflow, well defined eye, and the symmetry of the system suggest a stronger typhoon.

Getting noisier here as the night goes on. Tonight will be a long, sleepless night...and so will tomorrow. I'm not that afraid of these storms during the day, but there is something creepy about the wind rumbling around the house all night.

That's some SOLID structure on radar, though...I could see this thing being stronger, too. JTWC & JMA have both changed their track again...now they're taking it further to the east of us.

Winds have been steady here at 31-33 mph with Wind gust steady near50 mph

Took a little wobble back north..these little wobbles are gonna mean geting nothing or getting typhoon stregnth winds thats how close it looks of Okinawa being on the edge

I was just outside filming. Right near the end, got a pretty good gust that had me running back to the door. It's getting progressively worse out there. The ocean is a beautiful shade of green, right now, with all the sand churned up, though.
