Chemo? Crap Mama. Sending you some prayers right now.

Just me, hubby and dogs this year. Don't feel up to all the hoopla yet after surgery.

Ham
Asparagus
Green beans and taters
Cranberry sauce
Pumpkin pie

I'm saving the Thanksgiving menu for Christmas. Just a little backwards this year.

Speaking of Cranberry sauce - I just made my first ever. Man is it GOOD.

You know what... I am not sure... At least I think I am not sure.....

I know:

Smoked Turkey
Mashed Potatoes
Stuffing
Green Bean Casserole

After that, not sure.

Edit: I almost forgot. I am walk/jogging with my sister in law and brother in law for the GE Run Through the Woods 5 miler in the early morning. Then I am running 6 miles on my own at a 7:40 pace.

Edit Number Two: It was disgusting hot. Just yuck. They finished in 1 hour 18 minutes, which is great for them. I went home and ran 5 miles in 38:40 in the disgusting heat. Please front hurry....LOL

Hiya, Mamma!

Your food sounds sooooo yummy!

You have no idea how I miss thanksgiving with all the trimmins!

Not done here in the UK, but I think I will do something with my family just to remember our wonderful years in the USA.

Wow CMama, that doesn't sound like fun at all. Chemo can be rough on the body. Have you discussed with your doctor the pros and cons of taking probiotics? Unfortunately, not everything about probiotics is good but it is said that supplementing with them has been known to help some folks going through chemo.

At any rate, have a blessed Thanksgiving.

We had Thanksgiving at my house and it was very nice. There's no way I could name all the food... way too much to remember. We had turkey, ham, and pork roast, along with a gazillion side dishes and desserts. YUMMY!
