Yeah, too bad he is only part time. He is the weekend forecaster and occasionally fills in during the week. He is the best one we have in DFW IMO.
I was wondering why he wasn't on more but I don't watch every night so wasn't really sure. Shame.. I really enjoy his sense of humor on twitter too.
I WISH some station would have a website like alabamawx.com As I said I still read it fairly often..and even e-mail Spann concerning if he knew of any sites or such for the metroplex and he said that he had tried to get some people interested in a project like that but noone was interested or thought it was too much work. Its a shame..but it did lead me to finding this site.
I completely agree MSUDawg, I just moved here from Ttown to go to school and James, JB and all the abc 33/40 crew are awsome and I still read alabamawx everyday hah. They're the best during severe weather season hands down!
Khou does have something like that in Houston. But in general you would never have the personal touch here like you would in Alabama considering it's a major market. More peeps in DFW than the entire state of Alabama. Just consider yourself lucky that the texas forum is one of the most popular forums on storm 2k during the winter the last two years or so.
Send some emails to Wfaa they're owned by Belo Corp just like khou, maybe they'll start something. I can't imagine Pete Delkus wouldn't want his face plastered on another website.
Of course who needs the tv mets when we have pro mets like wxman57, wall cloud and txagwxman.
