First, congratulations to the North Texas people I disagree with. Outstanding job.
Snippet from updated disco out of Fort Worth:
NEW MODEL DATA CONTINUES TO COME IN AND WE ARE CONCERNED THAT THE
EXTENSIVE SNOW PACK WILL HAVE A SUBSTANTIAL IMPACT ON THE LOW
LEVEL THERMAL PROFILE OVER THE WEEKEND/EARLY NEXT WEEK WHICH WILL
RESULT IN SOME COOLER TEMPERATURES THAN PREVIOUSLY THOUGHT. IT MAY
ALSO AFFECT THE PRECIPITATION EXPECTED ON SUN
No surprise on lower temps, but I did not realize precip was/is forecasted for Sunday. What's the latest on that?

I'm trying hard to remember and I can't tell from my old pictures too much but I'm not sure if the foot of snow we got last year accumulated so much on the roads.
I have a neighbor who just pulled out from the street for the first time and it's incredible being actually to see just how much is on the street.

Here is a picture from last year. A lot more on the trees and stuff, but the roads were fine. As long as a car went by it melted instantly. It doesn't this time, compacted.

Edit: A band of light snow is about to pivot the metroplex. Starting to fall again here.

Heavy wet snow vs dry puffy stuff.
Plus roads were frozen before the snow started.

If it snows during the game, then we know Jerry is "officially" jinxed (hey, anybody that hires Barry Switzer just to "show em" deserves what he gets) and that he should immediately sell the team to the same guys that bought the Rangers.

From a winter storm...how about that. Still getting flurries here. If the sun doesn't break out fast it'll only have 2-3 hours of good daylight to do any work.

Wow, just had a friend tell me he saw Sherman on the weather channel, said it looked pretty bad. That's crazy.
