Can you post what the HRRR is showing, please?!

I don't know how to post images but HRRR 22z and recent runs have actually been consistently further north... OKC gets pounded though..

Thank you. How much is it showing for OKC?

Well it doesn't go out to the duration of the event, as it is a short range model, but in the next 15hrs it shows widespread 6-8" with precip still lingering further west.

I didnt see the pic but i thoroughly enjoyed last weeks 2-3 inches. My sledding on an inflatable mattress behind the truck went quite well. I'm in Dallas now an am eagerly anticipating my first DFW snow overnight tonght. I just hope I dont have to go to my first day of work LATE.

In Amarillo on business, started out at a balmy 29 this morning according to the old car thermometer. Down to 2 right now with a wind chill around minus 20 degrees with a nice sideways snow slanting(not falling) at the moment. Already closed down portions of I40 today from whiteout conditions. Lovely up here, lol. Cant wait to get back to Dallas, at least it stays above zero down there, of course I'm loving the snow plow action up here. Could use a few of those on stand by around the metroplex I imagine for tomorrow.

Even with the snow plows the traffic sounds like it's pretty slow on 40 from the hotel, so not many getting out up here already.

Apparently Amariilo will see three inches an hour if this is right but am not sure exactly were they are located.

They are the highest dot in the TX Panhandle on that image. It actually just recently started snowing there. 1 degree F & blowing snow.

Wow, I've always wanted to see a full blown blizzard. I guess I'm in for that tonight. :cold: It's either the best or the worst time to be in Amarillo depending on how you look at it I guess. As a weather geek I'll have to rate it the best. Then hopefully get my chapped butt outta here Thursday.

Maybe my wife can get another snow day from teaching tomorrow in Plano if trends hold.

Wow, my dad and my granddad all lived in the same general area in the late 1920s...just west of Waco.

I don't feel like that "general area" will get much other than Freezing Rain/Sleet.

What sucks about that is that the HRRR has had success lately, so it's not to be ignored.

Long range HRRR is about reliable as NAM/GFS long range. Last Friday it developed snow in SAT AUS, thurs morning...didn't happen.

Does the HRRR look accurate compared to the radar right now?
