Sleet/freezing rain coming down with a temp. Of 14 degrees on the westside of Fort Worth now. Unbelievable!!!

If this front isn't bringing the precip it's certainly bringing the chill. Wow, what a howler. NWS says 14F by noon and 10F tomorrow a.m. at DFW - shattering the daily record.

Looks like all the major districts are closed except Plano, no word yet lol

I thought that the dry slot would save us from getting freezing rain/sleet... boy was I wrong. The band coming through right now is going to cause some major headaches.

HRRR has a few bands developing over the metroplex but at this point just keep track of the radar. The stuff just to the NW might pivot over us later.
