I haven't read all the previous predictions so I may hit on the same thing someone else did. Sorry if that happens - or we can just go with great minds think alike.

1. A Food Network "star" is critically injured or passes away
2. Gasoline prices top the $5/gal mark
3. 4 tropical systems will strike the U.S. - without major damage
4. There will be an attempt on the President's life
5. Quoting VB "17. Finally and most importantly I win the Texas Lottery and the Powerball Lottery in the same week." AND HE SHARES WITH HIS S2K FAMILY.
6. The Tampa Bay Bucs will be sold

6-Oil will be close to $150
7-Gas will be over $4.00/gal
8-Cumbre Vieja Volcano's west flank will fall into the ocean resulting in a tsumani
9-There will be 2 to 3 8.0 mag earthquakes in the Pacific ring of fire
10-A Cat 5 hurricane will hit the US east coast

(yeah I know some wild ones but I was never good at this)

Is that time again for us to make predictions for the new year 2011.My 2010 predictions did not turned out to be good.Let's see if I do better with the 2011 ones.

1-Fidel Castro dies of natural causes.

2-New England Patriots win Superbowl.

3-Philadelphia Phillies win World Series.

4-Two hurricanes make landfall somewhere in the U.S.

5-Boston Celtics win NBA title.

6-A strong Earthquake hits Greece.

7-A plot to kill Obama fails,plotters arrested.

8-North Korea's son of Kim Jon Ill is new leader <------ you called that one

9-Israel attacks Iran nuclear facilities.

10-A big tornado outbreak causes many deaths in the Southern Plains.

Here is how it materialized.
1.) Another freeze hits America in January and February in spite of a mild winter.
There were freezes in February. Oklahoma had some record lows.
2.) Oregon wins BCS Championship in a close game.
Auburn won the BCS Championship.
3.) A upset in the Super Bowl.
Green Bay Packers won against Pittsburgh Steelers as expected.
4.) Economy goes into recession again.
The economy is still weak and vulnerable for many reasons.
5.) A major earthquake hits California.
There were string of earthquakes on the East Coast and Oklahoma.
6.) A super tornado outbreak worse than 1974 Tornado Outbreak from Texas to the East Coast.
There was the April 25-28 Tornado Outbreak, which is the largest tornado outbreak.
7.) A upset in the NBA World Championship.
Dallas Mavericks pulled a comeback to win. Close enough.
8.) A cult commits mass suicide.
With 2012 Doomsday, I would not be surprised this happens.
9.) Another active hurricane season, 16/9/6.
It was an active season. However, numbers were off.
10.) NFL Season is cut short due to lockout.
The NFL season has not been cut.
11.) Three major hurricanes make landfall on America.
That never happened, fortunately. I can't say of 2012.
12.) Oil prices goes up to $180.
Never happened.
13.) Houston Astros make it to the World Series and win.
St. Louis Cardinals won against Texas Rangers.
14.) A colder than normal December with snow.
Has been rather quiet so far.
15.) Iran's nuclear program stops due to a revolt.
Iran's nuclear program has been covertly being destroyed.
16.) Tensions in Korean peninsula boils into a war.
Kim Jong-Il died and Kim Jong-Un takes over. Kim Jong-Un is crazy.
17.) Another massive oil spill.
No oil spill.

1. The Houston Astros are finally sold to an out of town owner, who keeps the franchise in Houston.
Astros sold, but to out of town owner.
2. The Houston Texans FINALLY advance to the playoffs and make it to the second round.
Texans are in the playoffs, but whether they will get past 1st round is questionable the way they are playing tonight.
3. Another active hurricane season with 3 US landfalls, one a major CAT4, with I East coast hit and two GOM hits with one of those being in Florida. Fortunately I was wrong on this.
4. Almost the entire state of Texas is hit with a major snowstorm with some blizzard conditions late in January or very early in February. The panhandle and areas South of a Kingsville to Del Rio line is the only area that doesn't receive snow from this storm.Nope, didn't happen.
5. A young celebrity, other than Lindsey Lohan is found dead from a drug overdose. Miley Cyrus and Justin Beiber come to mind.1 week left
6. Fidel Castro dies. 1 week left
7. Hugo Chavez is killed and Venezuela is returned to a democracy form of government.1 week left
8. Category 5 scores Bon Jovi tickets and invites Southerngale to go with him. They both should be so lucky!!
9.Somethingfunny is give Justin Beiber tickets and asks Southerngale to go with him. I repeat above
10. A 5.2 earthquake hits the New Madrid fault one week after an 8+ hits San Francisco. Many believe they are connected. Has not happened
11. A major tornado outbreak hits in mid April devastating areas from the Houston area through Lousiana into MS and Tenn. Move this East about 150 miles and this becomes eerie in its' accuracy
12. A terror attack in Chicago kills hundreds and shuts down the El for weeks. Initially thought to be a conventional bomb it is quickly determined that it was a dirty bomb forcing huge evacuations of much of the Chicago area due to radioactivity. 1 week left and hopefully will not happen
13. Former President Jimmy Carter dies. Not yet
14. North Korea strikes South Korea with an atomic bomb and is quickly brought to it's knees by SK and the US. Fighting lasts only one week but hundreds of thousands are killed on both sides. Korea once again becomes a single nation with Seoul as the capital. Nope, at least not yet.
15. Brett Favre will attempt a comeback once again and will retire for good after one game after an embarassing loss caused by his performance on the field. He didn't and I can't believe he actually stayed retired.
16. A major politician comes out as gay, much to the dismay of his wife and children. Not yet
17. Finally and most importantly I win the Texas Lottery and the Powerball Lottery in the same week. 1 week left and I am buying tickets!!
