J/K We came close with Jerry in 1989, so I guess it is possible, but I sure wouldn't put it in the realm of probable.
I read Jeanne threatened in 1980 before a cold front wiped it out. Jerry was mid/late October wasn't it?

I've always felt cheated. David was only used once then retired.

Correct funny!
But the name looks good across the transom of a boat.
Gail Force
Lots of comments on that one. You would be suprised how many don't know the spelling difference though.

Jerry was mid October. I will always remember it because I was in Dallas with 11 teens on a church trip when it formed. We rushed to get back to Houston before it hit(not sure why now that I think of it, except the parents wanted their kds with them?). We made it fine, but where we were on the West side of Houston it was almost a not event because Jerry was so compact. It hit Baytown which is on the East side of the Houston metro area.

Jed I'm from SA and Hermine was amazing! I had so much fun tracking that and all of the rain that we got from her is the only reason we arn't in a severe drought right now.

I'll admit it was exciting. It was hell going outside in torrential rain every hour to dump the rain out of the gauge because it would only hold five inches. That was the wasn't too fun part. I don't mind a lot of rain just not 16 and a half inches to where it starts coming inside your house lol. I went and bought an electronic rain gauge shortly after Hermine haha.

Haha I take the rain whenever I can get it because sometimes it doesn't come for a long time...
