OUCH David....................That is very hot which i forecasted btw and yes you are correct thier is a coldfront moving in which should cool you guys down a bit.....................BTW I have only seen 105 once in my life back in 95...................Hope to never see that again..................Keep cool David untill the front arrives!!!!!!!

Yikes David :o Quite some heat there in Topeka. I saw 113 once if that makes you feel any better. Stay cool there and hopefully your bubble will burst tonight.
Charleston, SC hit 105º on August 1st, 1999 to set the all-time hottest temperature in its modern day recorded history ... humidity was amazingly low for SC that day which resulted in heat indecies near the actual temperature. Some locales in Eastern South Carolina (Hartsville, Camden to name a couple) hit 108º.
