We have 10 pineapple plants in our yard. Nothing better than taking one out of your own garden. :-) We let them stay on the plant until they turn all yellow. That's when they are the sweetest! Then you cut off the crown, let it dry outside for a week or so, plant it and in a couple of years it's starts producing pineapples :-)
