Scotty did well with "For Once in My Life" with the country spin.

What's up with Steven Tyler? I think if he could he would take his chair and sit someplace else. He had his should turned away from the other judges all night.

I agree with you David. Those four are my favorites. Something about Casey that is so great.

The whole group did pretty well last night. Pia has to be an odds on favorite right now. I like Scotty and country music in general but he's just ok in my opinion.

It's really hard for me to take someone who looks just like Alfred E. Neuman sesriously.

Edit to add: AI has become soooooo staged for ratings. I don't know if i can watch it anymore. Ugh.

Again, does anyone notice a difference in Steven Tyler? Seems like he's acting like a jerk to the other judges.

I didn't notice the shoulder thing until you mentioned it, but I saw him cutting up and hugging on Jennifer last night, so I don't think it's anything.

I didn't notice anything.

I think that Casey wasn't aware of what was going to happen. You can't fake that reaction. I do think that the judges did know who was voted off last night and already knew what they were going to do.

I haven't noticed anything with Steven. Ryan made it very obvious that the judges knew beforehand who had been voted off. IIRC he actually said it.

I'm sure that we'll be seeing Scotty at the Grand Ole Opry sometime in his career. :)

This is the first time I liked Stefano's performance.

Pia is still the front runner to take it all imo. Stefano and Lauren ramped it up tonight too. More to come. I still have trouble wrapping my head around the fact that Scotty is only 17 years old.

I can't believe that either about Scotty.

I think that they are all stepping it up. I'm enjoying all of the interpretations of Elton John's songs tonight, even Naima's reggae spin on "I'm Still Standing". They really have a great pool of talent this season.

Okay, Jacob's performance I wasn't that thrilled with.

I did like Jacob's performance. Haily took the night though!!! VERY TOUGH decision on who should go since they all did well tonight. My guess is Naimi and Paul(?). Really not sure at all.

I think Casey will go tonight even though I really like him. I wasn't too impressed by James either. Seemed like he was trying to hard or something. Pia is amazing and ya just want to squeeze Scotty.

I think Thia and Stefano will go home although I think it should be Thia and Paul (edit: I meant Paul, not Casey... wow! Big difference, in my eyes).

The worst performance of the night for me was Jacob. He isn't bad, I just don't "get him" or connect when he sings. The rest I really enjoyed. This is such a talented group.

I also think it will be Thia and Stefano, or Naima. Maybe Paul. I don't know... it's a tough call. 2 out of these 4, I believe.

I'm with you Kelly. My best guess would be Thia (just not very polished) and Paul.

I would bet that Stefano ends up on Broadway.
