It is times like this when I wish it was kind of like dancing with the stars. Have judges scores weighed in as well. Pre teen girls are very persistent and loyal and usually like the Bieber type artist; other style of artist don't stand a chance.

WTH are any of them doing in the bottom 3, especially Pia? I totally agree with you about the judging. Judges votes should be weighed in at least through till the top 5 imo. If the teeny weenies manage to screw this up again, I will have a hard time continuing to watch.

Jennifer - Welcome to American Idol. How many times have we seen the wrong person win Idol? If AI keeps letting people submit unlimited amount of votes, this is what happens. There's always stories about getting out the vote parties, etc.

As far as Jacob's comment, if he's voted off tonight, it's because people can't look at themselves in the mirror - NO, Jacob, sometimes it's just hard to watch you perform, good voice or not...

If the judges weighed in it'd be their favorites up there, no matter what. James, Casey & Scotty. Oh wait...we've seen the favoritism with Casey.

The powers that be at AI have got to do something about the voting procedures. It is as simple as that. As for Jacob's comment, it is too bad it didn't get out before the vote. Just for that comment he deserves to leave imo.

Pia getting voted off is just as wrong as it can get. I don't think I'll watch the rest of the season....

Hey, I don't watch this show because of Pia or any of the others. I watch it for the sheer enjoyment.

Pia has already been scooped up for a record deal. Good for her!

I understand what you are saying Karan, but imo part of the entertainment is seeing if we are correct in who we think should be gone. When that part of the entertainment is RUINED by a bunch of teeny weenies voting for the "cute" boy or something similar as opposed to voting for true talent(yes they are all very talented)it takes a lot of the enjoyment away since to me part of that entertainment is seeing the very best compete and she was the one to beat imo.
Glad to hear she got a record deal!! She will soar!

I think that the judges are doing all they can to keep selling this season. I'm not loving any of the performances tonight.

David, you are a man of your word. lol
Didn't think it was good at all. Scotty didn't even impress me. I thought Casey was kinda cool even though I don't care for jazz. The judges are crappy.

I am normally a man of my word. I actually missed it some, but have lost a lot of interest in the show until/if it is "fixed". The voting has got to be reworked if it is to be a truthful show and the judges need to give true constructive criticism instead of kissing the contestants asses. Just the comments I saw on tv this am and yours tell me the contestants aren't improving and as good as they all are they should be. Something/several things are not working. Not sure the whole Pia thing isn't contrived just to try and increase viewers with controversy, especially since she was signed by the guy who advises all the contestants. They weren't about to let her get out of the "fold".

James was rockin' Zakk Wylde just shredded. Again, who knows. Maybe metal will come back into the main view again. That would be GREAT!!!. I am just stoked to see metal on American Idol. "Just give metal a chance". Oh yes, please.

I did see that performance. James was truly in his element and rocked it out! :D

The way I see it now, I wouldn't be a bit surprised if Paul won. Wouldn't that be a kick in the a..?

After suffering what I suffered through in the 1990's as a metalhead, I would be just beside myself to see metal back on top. Would it not be a hoot if James won?

From the sound of it the judges think every song is an amazing performance and the greatest thing since sliced bread. Am I pretty close?
