I was about to say 17.5 for the Tornado near Berry, Fayette county? What the actual F?

And debris dropping down from the sky in Berry.

This is amazing...there must be dozens of possible tornados active. I just counted around a dozen couplets on the Columbus MS radar alone.....MGC

I think we're watching Super Outbreak II.


At the moment, it appears it could be as severe for the Deep South. I wonder if the cap could break further north, into the Ohio Valley, and potentially some tornadoes could strike there? There are also currently non-PDS tornado watches in effect for the Mid-Atlantic from NY south to NC, but so far no tornado warnings within these watches.

That thing's apparently headed right for the Tuscaloosa area which is under Tornado emergency now. Insane.

The Cordova/Jasper tornado has been reported to be a multi-vortex one.
