Talked to my sister in Knoxville TN and her car has been basically destroyed by baseball & larger size hail. Also holes in the roof of the house. They were going back to their safe room as we were speaking because of another tornado warning issued just to their south. All are ok...no injuries.

Don't know what his source is, so take this with a grain of salt.
But Bart Comstock (@SvrWxChaser) is reporting via Twitter that a three story hotel has collapsed due to the tornado near Rome, Georgia.
He says multiple victims reported.
If true, this is apparently from the same tornado that hit Tuscaloosa and Birmingham.
EDIT: @TWCBreaking (The Weather Channel Breaking) is now reporting the same thing via an emergency management official.

Again, not sure where his source is (I think it may be from ABC 33/40, he just quoted them on another statement).
Just heartbreaking news continues to come out of Tuscaloosa...
@SvrWxChaser (Bart Comstock)
#BREAKING: EMA in AL expecting fatalities to rise exponentially in Tuscaloosa in the wake of a possible #EF5 #Tornado

@TWCBreaking: "Extensive damage reported in Dadeville, AL. "Direct hit", per emerg. manager."
By my count, that makes Cullman, Tuscaloosa, Brimingham metro, Hackleburg, Pleasant Grove, and who knows how many other Alabama towns have been hammered today...

Yep, nightmarish day for sure.
Never thought I'd see something like this. One continous monster wedge tornado after another ripping through populated areas.
We'll talk about 4/27/11 for years to come.

@WeatherChannel reporting on Twitter 130 tornado reports so far today (I know, official number will take days to actually determine).
@TxStormChasers (Texas Storm Chasers) reports on Twiter that ABC 33/40 is reporting "53 fatalities today in Alabama alone."

Yeah, going to be a very long night for folks under that air mass.
Doubt I'd be sleeping if I lived there the threat is so strong.

Re: Potential Widespread Flooding/Severe Weather Event 4/23-28
Anyone know if that tornado warned cell SW of Blairsville, GA is the same one that has produced the Tuscaloosa/Birmingham tornado?
If it is...and if a tornado is still on the ground...it's got to be less than an hour away from crossing into Tennessee.
That would make FOUR states it traveled through on a continous track (assuming it hasn't lifted up).
