It would have been even less, but I had to deduct the cost of the Terminix visit on Monday...

Anyway, Collins Development has an unwelcome surprise coming! :D

to be turning toward the better for you!
That "long" weekend is almost over, and,
tomorrow, remember....CARPE DIEM,
my friend!!

My prayers shall be with you!

Not quite, Breeze...this morning, Debi awakened me early to help her look for her bridge (she's always misplacing things she "just had")... Therefore, the word for today is "CARPE DENTUM" (sieze the teeth)! Or, since "az snowman" is so difficult to reach, it could just as well be "CARPE DENTON"! :D

Bill, I am glad to see you in good spirits. I will try to carpe some of that for myself as my wife announced that today is a house cleaning day.

UPDATE: Not "pinning our fortunes on one horse", we have found three more rentals in the Sunday paper, all with the same telephone number...a call was made, message left.

Dennis, it is very difficult to imagine your massive, mountain-man frame as a "dufffer" on the links...unless they're homemade venison sausage!

Not with pnemonia you can't!

Bill - good idea on looking at other apartments! Again, I hope that ONE of the apartments that you've seen or are interested in will be the one!

Pam,

It's a feeling like a search-and-rescue mission in the pre-GPS days...i.e., like searching for a downed aircraft in dense forest for hours whose ELT (emergency locator transmitter) wasn't working...suddenly, my team gets a call from HQ; the ELT has been "tripped", and they have triangulated its location, very close to mine!

We are so very close to our "target" funding, and a few more individuals are sending donations via USPS, which we are waiting for...in the meantime, we have one apartment...a townhouse duplex "in application", and three more on "call back", probably tomorrow.

Sometime this week... :larrow:

OK, Terminix was here! They sprayed, set up "baits" inside all of our electronix, and now...I'm viewing, not very many, cockroaches walking sideways, or on their hind feet (I'm not kidding!), rollling over and meeting their Maker...and Terminix says "Ve'll vee bahck" whenever we do move and keep on doing this until we have "terminated' all of them. :o

Still waiting for some word on those units...and letters!

No, Steph...

It's been the "Silence of the Hams" today...not a single response, call, "Dear-Sir-You-Cur" note has come our way today.

WE did get more food from one of the church pantries, and I got my two-month's supply of Rx this afternoon....and yes, we managed to squeeze coppertop's physical in, just in time for the first Cross Country practice of his second year on the team :o .
