Love Aerosmith and really liked Steven Tyler as a judge when the season started. He has become a different person to me. He just doesn't blend with the other two judges and it seems like he's just not enjoying himself and separates himself from the other two. I can't explain it. He makes me feel uncomfortable.

I thought Lauren finally "came out of her shell" last night and was fantastic! I always like her, though. I thought Haley's second song was fantastic! I thought Scotty's first song was fantastic and didn't love his second one so much. I thought James was great on both songs. I like all four of them, almost equally, and don't want any of them to go home. LOL
I don't know if they'll do a bottom two with only four people left, but if they do, I think it will be James and Haley. I'm not saying that's who it should be (I honestly don't know... loved them all), but I think that James or Haley is going home. Probably Haley. Not that it's always accurate, but Dial Idol has Scotty and Lauren both safe.

Btw, I think Haley has taken more criticism than the others. They all deserve it at some point as they're not ALWAYS at their best, but it seems that some people are praised even when a little criticism is probably due. They just don't seem to miss an opportunity to criticize Haley. I guess it's TPTB.

Scotty will likely have huge success whether he wins or not. If he left tonight, that would give the other three the best chance, and he would still do great. lol That won't happen though. How 'bout four winners this season?

Scotty has been consistently number one on this, so I would not be surprised if he wins.

Unfortunately I think you are right Michael. I don't mean that in a bad way towards Scotty, but as we all know Idol or not he is on his way to Super Stardom. Heck, he blows away a majority of the male country stars already and he is only 17!! Personally I think James is the one who should win it all.
Well so much for dialidol. Haley is in the top 3 along with Lauren. That means one of the guys is going home. I think it should be Scotty, but it doubt it will be.

What just happened on AI just shows us again that the voting procedures must be changed if it is to remain a viable show. James is arguably one of the best AI has ever seen IMO. Scotty is deserving to say the least, but he has it made without AI.

Reading y'alls posts i'm glad i stopped watching weeks ago. I don't like the judges anymore and the contestants that were left just didn't play the music i cared for. I'm done with this show. Hopefully this will be the last season. Bring on Simon's X Factor!!!!!!!

And just a note...i'm so glad to see actual conversations going on in this thread. I've noticed so much copying and pasting in other threads on the board. It's like we've lost the art of conversation on the board...let's bring it back to every thread!

Actually, according to DialIdol, James and Haley were both in danger of being voted off. They were both in yellow and according to DI, they were the bottom two. Scotty and Lauren were both predicted to be safe.

I love James, but I guess I'm not shocked by the results. If I had never seen DI, I would have thought it could have been any of them. While most people have favorites, all four are very popular, and very good! They're all different from each other and appeal to different people and I really think they will all do well. This certainly isn't the end of the road for James.

Shows you what the public knows...the winner that year was....wait for it...Taylor Hicks....( now he is doing good things for Alabama in the wake of the tornadoes...so I can not bash him too much)
