Hurricane season begins in EPAC: first TWO issued

It's already May 15 UTC, and will be May 15 on the West Coast in under 5 hours. Start of the EPAC hurricane season. First TWO is due in 10 hours.

I am so excited to see the EPAC get going though I dont see anything in the near future.

TROPICAL CYCLONE FORMATION IS NOT EXPECTED DURING THE NEXT 48 HOURS.

TODAY MARKS THE FIRST DAY OF THE EASTERN NORTH PACIFIC HURRICANE
SEASON...WHICH WILL RUN UNTIL NOVEMBER 30.  LONG-TERM AVERAGES FOR
THE NUMBER OF NAMED STORMS...HURRICANES...AND MAJOR HURRICANES ARE
15...8...AND 4...RESPECTIVELY.

I think we should start our own Archive of TWO's...If anyone has used the NHC archive, well, its not very good and its tedious to go through. Any thoughts on this idea?

I second that suggestion.
My thought would be to create a directory like the "Storm Archive"
with threads for each year...
That would be roughly 1500-1600 TWOs per year.

Well, if you know how to use it, it's not that difficult.

Atlantic TWO archive, sorted by date issued
East Pacific TWO archive, sorted by date issued
