I couldn't agree more and the winners are not necessarily the most successful.

Taylor Hicks is a sweet heart. I always loved his energy but was never one of my favorites by a long shot. I remember how upset I was when Chris Daughtry was voted off. I don't even remember the other two contestants.

Scotty and sing and he is an awesome baseball player. Heard he will go real high in the draft. So he can pick which one he wants to get rich with lol

Scotty just keeps getting better and better. I have quickly become a fan. I was a fan of Carrie Underwood throughout idol and I think Scotty has a similar future as Carrie.

You are right about Scotty, but he doesn't need AI anymore. I am not watching anymore as imo it is no longer a competition. We know he will win so why watch? It hasn't been a competition since James was voted off. AI will be very low on my list of to watch next year unless they revamp the voting procedures and/or the judges. Hey Randy, get some new lines!!! :roll:

I don't like country either - never got into it though it is good music. I'm also not watching the rest of AI this season.

Ok, the finale was ok until Mark Anthony performed. Believe me the only reason he got that was because of jlo. The ONLY reason. And i really didn't need to see jlo shimmy her derrière.

I am watching tonight for the pure entertainment value. All I can say at this point is WOW!!!

James Durban with Judas Priest rocked the nation!!! And Scotty is better than Tim McGraw!!!
Happy to see Sheila Eads on stage again, but WTF with Jennifer and Mark. More thoughts as the show progresses.

And whoever decides on what songs will be sung ought to be shot! Tom Jones? He's 71 years old! Can't they find songs from the last 10 years to sing...ALL THE TIME?????

I loved Lauren and Carrie singing together. They both sounded great! I haven't seen much else as I wasn't home when it aired and was just FF'ing to the end and stopped to watch a few minutes here and there.

Lauren and Carrie were great!! But unlike Tim and Scottie, superstar Carrie outshown Lauren to say the very least. They were the only bright spot in the second half of the show imo.
