SOUTHEAST OF HONG KONG, CHINA. ANIMATED MULTISPECTRAL SATELLITE
IMAGERY DEPICTS AN EXPOSED ELONGATED LOW LEVEL CIRCULATION CENTER
(LLCC) WITH CONVECTION SHEARED TO THE EAST. A 312219Z CORIOLIS
MICROWAVE IMAGE SHOWS THE WEAK CONVECTIVE BANDING AND DRY AIR ALONG
THE WESTERN PERIPHERY. A 010208Z ASCAT PASS DEPICTS WEAK 10 TO 15

Taiwan CWB suggests showers dying out tomorrow. Few residual showers coming up on S. Taiwan radar tonight. Certainly quiet here at bedtime & very comfortable 28.5 deg C. Great visibility & no pollution in the air for a change. System seems to be passing over Taiwan on the way to Ishigaki & all points NE of here. We had NO rain from Songda in Kaohsiung.

If nothing else this system has given an awful lot of rain to S.Taiwan.
