CPC Dependability?

Do you any of you feel the Climate Prediction Center's forecasts are dependable? They show a relief to our heat wave with below average temps and no deviation from normal precip for the next 3-6 months which would be great.

But it seems I've looked at them before and found their forecast off quite a bit.

The problem with your interpretation is that they don't forecast above/below normal temperatures and precipitation. They forecast probabilities of above or below normal temps/precip. That makes them nearly useless IMHO.
