It's at 23.5 North 57.5 West.

Here's a visible loop.

Take it for what it is, which is just a low level naked swirl, just like ex-94L. The Western Atlantic right now is just too hostile with shear in the upper environment for anything to get organized any time soon.

I'm a little more interested in the area North of Puerto Rico, a more favorable enviroment. I cant tell if there is anything at the surface. But it's almost beneath an upper high. We'll see if it presist overnight. 25.8N 66.5W

It looks like that area is attatched to a front still.

invest 91 214N, 576W
invest 92 317N, 570W

We've had low pressure or a surface trough to our NE since the 2nd week in April - persistant. Many of the 06z surface maps I save every day have "dissipating" on the low. One time I think 6 days in a row it said that. Obviously, this has been a persistant pattern. Either the models now are wrong again, or a big ridge is going to build in Central Atlantic this week and break the pattern. It would be nice, it's so hot and humid with this MASS of tropical moisture over us for 2 weeks now, and no wind, it feels like August. Image
