Beautiful weekend in the Northeast/Mid-atlantic

#1 Postby Stephanie » Sun Aug 24, 2003 8:24 pm

Temps in the low 80's with humidity in the 30 - 40% range. I felt like I was out in Colorado again. It was wonderful to have all of the windows open and have the fresh air come in! It's supposed to get alittle warmer by Tuesday or Wednesday and then cool off a tad again in time for the Labor Day weekend.

Chad, are you sure you want winter to come here to central Florida?

Temperatures that feel cooler than they actually are and no just about daily thunderstorms...

The mid 60's feel so cool because we are so used to the upper 80's to low 90's (unless of course we get rain cooled air from the thunderstorms due to the seabreeze collisions [and at times other weather system, which usually don't include "real" cold fronts].

This past weekend was absolutely gorgeous in my area! Sunny skies, high temps in the low 80's (and lows near 60) with very low humidity. Wonderful! 8-) :)

Actually, Bfez & Chad, we'll be back in the soup starting tomorrow. You can feel the humidity build already! :(

I remember experiencing those temperatures after some hot summers. However, hearing that Boston had early morning forecast lows of the mid to upper 50's in late August is surprise. Doesn't usually get that 'chilly' this early.

I also heard that northern Maine was expecting frost and even a bit of snow a few days ago...

Is that for real? I don't think I've ever heard of that in this time of year before. :?
