Youtube Comment Regulations

#1 Postby Florida1118 » Wed Jun 22, 2011 2:11 pm

Does anyone else think youtube comments should be a little more...monitored? Nearly every popular video is just filled with spam, cussing, and put downs. Im really irritated that I cant watch a music video or happy video anymore without people cussing and calling each other names and insulting race, religions, beliefs like mis-behaved 5th graders.

I don't believe I ever have, and most likely never will.

There are flat out disgusting, insensitive, and even racist remarks littering videos on that site. I don't even read comments anymore.

You Tube is one of the worst places for comments I have seen. It is full immature people and crazies.

I gave up reading the comments a long time ago too, but I decided to look (bad decision), and Im just wondering how any of what the people say is aloud on youtube, let alone any website. And most of it is reposted again and again...

People say a lot of things aloud whether they are allowed to or not.

A lot of websites out there allow free speech unlike most of these type of boards that are heavily moderated.

I usually don't pay attention to comments on YouTube pages. I only read the positive ones.
