Models want to keep the FL Peninsula in a more trough pattern than not through the upcoming week so the chances of at least normal afternoon showers and storms are going to stay up, if you have not gotten much yet don't loose hope, pattern is looking good.

GFS precip forecast totals through next weekend, it has most of the peninsula getting at least an 1" of rain with possibly 3" in parts of S FL.

Not.

This is getting absolutely ridiculous. Port Saint Lucie didn't receive a drop of rain today, whereas everyone else in the Palm Beaches and Treasure Coast did.

Yeah the rains have finally arrived last week. On one day (I think it was Thu.).....I must have received at least 3-4 inches of rain in about 45 min. - 1 hour from an afternoon storm that sat over my area. Filled the pool nearly all the way. Every day there has been some rain and it is looking good for rain the rest of the week. Lakes are still low but already showing some improvement and things are very green again.

rain to south of me, to the north, and to the east.

Everyone in my area is getting some rain, not a drop falling on me.

Love Florida rain patterns, always one or two areas that get nothing in a downpour.

Rough weather being reported in Tally. Plenty of trees down and some flooding downtown and to the NE side of town.

When I lived in Gulf Breeze, I distinctly remember it pouring on our property and if you stepped into the next door neighbors yard it wasn't raining. One of the strangest things I have ever seen.

Well, it's been consistent at least. 2/10, 2/10, 2/10 but only lightning early this morning and a trace.

After watching huge storms blow up all around us last week and hardly getting more than 2/10 inch of rain out of it here in North Palm Beach, we have finally gotten slammed the last 3 days

Yes, even here in New Port Richey we have totaled 1.5" since Fri AM. Yet, none of it in downpours. Odd. Just persistent light to moderate rains, maybe for a an hour or two here or there. Lots of thunder, but no really heavy rains. BUT IT DID RAIN! YAY.........more chances today. :P

I got a couple of those monsoon type drenchers this afternoon, radar definetely looks like this monsoonal type trough has found a home in the FL peninsula.

Dry as a bone in New Port Richey. Missed everything despite several hours of thunder. Last rain was 2/10" mon Monday evening, and about the same overnight Sunday. That is it. The rainy season can be sooooooo frustrating!

Other than a few light showers that lasted, maybe a minute, once again nothing in the rain gauge while the radar lights up! The same areas north of me that got it yesterday, and last night, and this morning, seem to be getting more now. I swear there is a curse over my head. I will have to water the yard in spots and the new grass plugs due to lack of rain - while some parts of the state are swimming in rainfall. ARGH______________________ :grr:

Tallahassee got hit again today with severe weather. More trees knocked down, 60-65 mph winds, and power knocked out to all of FSU campus buildings.

Two weeks ago I would had never thought I was going to say this today: "I am tired of the rain here in the Orlando area"!
I have received close to 8" rain in the last 2 weeks, mildew is growing everywhere in my back yard.

Sounds like you could be here with us up in Jackson County..........I know Tally has been getting some good rain........but we are still in Exceptional Drought......and we haven't seen anything other then a light rain, and I'm not sure if/when we will get something more then sprinkles.
