She's Guilty. If her father was so abusive, why did she say she loved him and cared about him when she was first arrested? She was behind glass; she could have said whatever she wanted. The kid died cause she wanted to party and her new boyfriend might not like she had a kid. So what do you do? Child care is expensive, being responsible isnt a good idea for her...so shes kills her. All the CSI people Ive talked over here in Pinellas say shes guilty as hell also. Shes got no good defense, and the State has a strong offensive. Just send her to the good ol' row of death already.

What a circus it has been. (and still is) The lead defense attny is either very inexperienced, an idiot, or an excellent actor. I can't believe some of the stuff he has tried to pull - so close to being in contempt of court.

Only the Lord knows what happened to that poor little child. But I know that her "mom" Casey is guilty to some extent. What a lying nutcase she is!

I hope that whatever comes out of this trial the innocent and falsely charged will be able to put closure to Caylee's death and this whole mess. I can't imagine living through somthing like this.

Yes the media would care, because mostly it is about a child and innocent baby, not matter if she is black, Hispanic, or Asian or white, it is about a baby that was killed, then trown away as if she was trash..Nothing to do with race. get over it.

The problem I have with this case is the lack of direct evidence. As much as I think Casey is guilty of murder, I don't know if I could convict on the evidence that's been presented. It will be interesting to see if the jury has an option of something less than first degree murder when it goes to the jury. IT not, then I think she has a descent chance of being acquited..

I'm pretty sure I read that second-degree murder and manslaughter are on the charge sheet as lesser included offenses.

I'm glad to see a prosecutor trust the jury like that, rather than (as sometimes happens) force them to choose between first-degree or nothing.

If it was there would be a directed verdict of guilty and mandatory life sentence without parole!! Unfortunately, even though I know we haven't seen as much as Floridians have about the trial, I think you are right about the lack of direct evidence. One thing to say to Casey-KARMA is a mean lady!!

I am sure some people will remember Diane Downs. She is the Oregon woman who shot three of her children, killing one of them in 1983. She claimed a carjacker did the crime, when she did it. Casey Anthony reminds me of Diane Downs.

Even without the lack of DIRECt evidence, people have been convicted without a huge amount of it. And her and her lawyer are both stupid, and bad at lieing. Im confident in a conviction.

Oh geez. So..the most recent "news". They tried to get Casey declared incompetent. Three doctors examined her this past weekend. The judge declared her competent to stand trial. Sorry but ha ha ha ha.

This case reminds me of the OJ Simpson case...it's not about justice or truth..it's like Chicago's Razzle, Dazzle 'Em song. Just confuse everyone to the extent that nothing is clear and win!

The defense has a responsibility to try everything legal I guess. All they have to do is get 1 juror to side with them....

How about this guy...FLIPS off to prosucutor and gets sentenced to six days in the Orange County Jail and a fine of $400 plus court costs of more than $200.
