I agree MF, the evidence was circumstantial, nothing for the prosecution to hang it's hat on. The jury didn't really hve a choice. I told that to my in-laws yesterday before fireworks. They told me I was a fool. Still think she did it, but that doesn't mean a thing in court.

I'd much rather have a system that lets guilty people off instead of convicts a high number of innocents. Still surprised. Thought it was a slam dunk.

This case was a no brainer, I'd bet my life savings she killed that girl.

But do you have proof beyond a reasonable doubt? Evidently the prosecution didn't prove that and that's what the jury has to look for. America had Casey Anthony found guilty before her trial. Now, I'm not saying she's not guilty...but if she is then the only important judgement day lies ahead of her when she faces her God.

There's no such thing as proof unless it's caught on tape. But that many BS stories? Idk how she couldn't be guilty.

I would not want to be that prosecutaion or ones perfoming the autopsy...I will start with the autopsy..they ripped the mapart the did not go into the head and skull where if she was drowned like they said it would have given a lcear answer..and 2 the prosecution did nothing..the closing argumenets where the best but thats to late!

The jurors dont want to talk to the media,nor the judge will release their names. I can understand that from now on those people will be harrased wherever they go in their normal lives.

Well, thats that. IF she did it, which she did in my opinion and probably every Officer/Deputies opinion also, shes going to hell. I dont like her, and I just might throw a party if she gets shot. Sad thing is, she will get rich off this. Book, movie...shes got it inthe bank. But as said before, Id rather have a few guilty people walk than innocent people be accused.

That is so true. Sometimes justice or the system fails, but you cannot just chuck it all into the ocean. They are there for a reason. The Crown was quite brutal in their ways of getting what they wanted.

I agree. Did we not just celebrate our independence from tyranny? And here we are wanting it back because justice might not have been done. We all have to remember, Justice is blind. If it wasnt, we might as well call in the KKK, Hitler, and Castro to come do our justice than. Remember, she might be guilty, but she was not PROVEN guilty. Id much rather have OJ and her walk than to have thousands of innocent people be convicted because someone said so. We moved forward from Lynching innocent african americans, moved forward from killing innocent people in the jewish faith, moved forward from convictions based on biasness and simple statements of he did this to me, she did that. And I am quite sure non of us want to go backwards. We must be happy with our blind justice, or go find justice in tyranical and barbaric ways. Eliminating double jeopardy would need to be only one retry and only with legitimate significant evidence to prevent such abuse.
