anyone else notice this?!

This is the general tropical discussion area. Anyone can take their shot at predicting a storms path.

anyone else notice this?!

I was just looking at some AVN models at my location. Something else caught my eye. I looped them, and to the East of Miami Florida out in the atlantic, a rather potent low or what seems like a hurricane or so is there. This hurricane like thing is moving DUE EAST straight towards Miami. It weakens from. it regains some strength in the GOM. After that it goes More Notherwesterly directly toward louisiana. Oddly as it seems, its taking the same track as Hurricane Andrew did back in 1992..does anyone else see this? if not, ill post the pics right now in a pic animation.

I believe what you're seeing is the vorticity maximum associated with the disturbance in the eastern Caribbean. If you look at the initial map you can follow it NW to near the Bahamas then west across Florida into the eastern Gulf. Basically, the model is forecasting the spinning/lifting energy associated with the disturbance in the eastern Caribbean to track in that direction. But keep in mind that the model said the same thing about TD 9, and look where it went.

maybe you are right, looking at the satellite Imagery, North of the Caribbian, there is a strong wind aloft, and not favorable.
