Wife's Diary:
Tonight, I thought my husband was acting strangely.
We had made plans to meet at a nice restaurant for dinner. I was shopping with all day long, so I thought he was upset because I was a bit late, but he didn't comment on it.
There was no conversation during dinner, so I finally asked him what was wrong. He said, 'Nothing.' I asked him if it was my fault that he was upset. He said he wasn't upset, that it had nothing to do with me, and not to worry about it.
On the way home, I told him that I loved him. He smiled slightly and kept driving. I can't explain his behavior. I don't know why he didn't say, 'I love you, too' like he always does.
When we got home, I felt as if I had lost him completely, as if he wanted nothing to do with me anymore. He just sat there quietly and watched TV, acting distant and absent.
Finally, with silence all around us, I decided to go to bed. About 15 minutes later, he came to bed. But I still felt that he was distracted, and his thoughts were somewhere else.
He fell asleep. I cried. I don't know what to do. I'm almost sure that his thoughts are with someone else. My life is a disaster.
Husband's Diary:
Boat wouldn't start. I can't figure it out.

Re: Diaries (Just for Fun)
LOL!!! Sounds like my husband...If men would externalize their thought process a little more, it would really save us women a lot of grief...and I'm sure if we would INTERNALIZE our own, it would save them some as well.
For instance: Me - "I'm going to wear the red shirt with a pair of jeans...Wait, no...my lips are chapped from being outside all day yesterday so if I wore the red shirt, I'd have to wear red lipstick to match it and it would look like crap. So I think I'll just wear chapstick, but I'll need to pick something else. I have the green dress, but then I have to find the brown sandals to go with it and I can only find one so I could wear the black shirt with the skirt I have...No, crap. It's in the dirty clothes. Wait! I could wear the black shirt with the jeans...but then what earrings would I wear...What do you think?"
Husband: "AAAHHHH!!!!! I can't take it anymore! Woman! You make my brain short circuit!"

Re: Diaries (Just for Fun)
Often heard question - 'Does this dress make me look fat?'
Correct answer - 'No dear, you look fabulous no matter what you wear.'
Incorrect answer - "No dear, your fat makes you look fat.'
I suggest the correct answer, unless you have a comfy couch!
