Harry Potter was AWESOME! Finally went to see it. I wasn't disappointed at all as someone told me I would be. I thought they did very well wrapping up the series.

The Harry Potter hype is very well-deserved (read the books!), but Twilight? Mehh! I tried to read the first book due to the insistence of a friend. Couldn't make it through it. Harry Potter was unique because I had no interests in wizards and magic, either, but J.K. Rowling MADE it fascinating. I couldn't say the same about the Twilight author. Possibly because Twilight was more romance and I just don't like the genre.

Harry Potter: Main plot - Coming of age, becoming a stronger person
Twilight: Main plot - romance, becoming dependent on a vampire that sparkles in sunlight
