Thanks Msbee i'm there :D :D. Meteo-France has begun slowly but surely to emphasize in the latest of the morning. Yeah if this trends continue 91L should be closer to me than you but given the pretty large and impressive size of this feature i advice all the Leewards to be aware. Let's wait and see...

Note from Crownweather Facebook page:

PLEASE PASS THIS ON TO ALL FAMILY & FRIENDS IN THE NE CARIBBEAN
by Crown Weather Services on Saturday, July 30, 2011 at 10:52am

Let everyone you know in the Leeward Islands, Virgin Islands and Puerto Rico know that Invest 91L is expected to slow down in forward speed just as it nears the Lesser Antilles & this is where it may quickly intensify. If the NHC waits for recon to upgrade this (tomorrow afternoon), it will give much less time to prepare, much like what happened with Tomas from last year. The impact from this system as a strong TS or a hurricane will be starting Mon afternoon across the Leeward Islands & starting Tue afternoon for the US Virgin Islands and the British Virgin Islands. So, prepare today for a possible impact from this potential strong TS or hurricane.

Interresting analysis, very good point. Let's begin the preparations carefully as 91L does not want to give up...

- Tropical depression approaching

Today we have woken up to blue sky with patchy sunshine. There is a heavy scent on the air of moisture. The valley is eerily silent! On a normal day we would have several trucks with workers going to their gardens going past our home. Since about 6.0 p.m. last night we have not heard one vehicle on the road! We live about quarter of a mile from anyone so it really feels very strange. We will have to get used to this for quite a while we think as it is not going to be easy to repair all the damage that has been done to the valley and the bridge; it will probably be months!! We only have two ways now to get to town! The Warner road or Ponte Casse. We are now very disturbed to see that we could be getting our first hurricane of the season by next Tuesday and it could be coming directly at us and the Leaward Islands. This we feel would be a catastrophe for us in Dominica! The soil is already saturated with water if we get anymore rain we definitely will get landslides. It could be extremely serious for us as both the Warner road and the Ponte Casse road are prone to landslides. All we can do is really pray that the weather system in the Atlantic dissipates!! We are going to town today and will make sure we do a great deal of stocking up on everything!!
