Pressure now dropping rapidly at Kadena. Winds have gone down a touch, but will probably go up again soon. Looking forward to seeing the footage! Hopefully there won't be a lot of damage though...

Just as I posted that the pressure went up lol, proabably just stalling like James said though.

These obs from Kadena are easier to read: http://weather.noaa.gov/weather/current/RODN.html

Thanks!

Pressure has gone up, and winds have backed off slightly per obs from RODN. Anyone still online from Kadena to confirm this up? .. I'm assuming it is the lull between the inner and outer eyewall, that is the way it looks on Radar.

Ok just bit my tounge, a gust up to 70kts at 1855Z and pressure dropping yet again, looks like the inner eyewall starting to make landfall now.

Pressure still dropping in Naha steadily but winds eased off slightly over last hour. I'm sure they'll pick up again soon:

Winds picking up again by the looks of it and pressure is also dropping quickly. I would love to be in Okinawa now.

Still have power here. I somehow managed to get a few hours of sleep, but got woken up by what sounds like the apocalypse in my bedroom. Loudest room in the house and it's the one I have to sleep in! This feels like it's been going on forever, now. You know that part in The Star Spangled banner about giving proof through the night that the flag was still there? I'm just starting to wonder if my CAR will still be there! LOL

What kind of winds we talking about here.... 60-70 mph sustained, 90-100 gusts?
