A lot of deep convection now as well.
Something to note the water is much warmer west of Okinawa as well, the moist air inflow is likely another reason for the continued intensification.

By the way, it's good to see you, Rob! Hope things are treating you well and that your weather is significantly less...exhausting...than ours has been!
Many people were on the Kadena Air Base page telling them it was NOT over.
As I was posting this, my son started yelling that there was water all over the floor by the front door. We have water coming in heavily from the front door.

O I'm down by Australia right now, not in Yokohama as my location states. Winds 5kts outside right now and clear skies.
I know back home though they got some rain showers today but nothing to exciting.

INFIDOLL you live on the southern part of the island too right? You may be getting some surge like effect right now. Good luck!
O and underthwx, just to note, most of the people in this forum currently are military in some sort of a way or another, (specifically the people in Okinawa).

Yep, we're about midway between Kadena and Naha. The wind is blowing towards the ocean...but our stairwells and everything are flooding. I can't believe how much water just came in the front door. 5 towels later and it's still wet. I give up until morning.
