my brief statement,lol
warm advection of subtropical let the trough on east china move northward, and trough on west china didn't keep up,so Muifa will move westward
Muifa is likely to land in Zhejiang or Shanghai.

ps.OMG,my eng is so poor, could u understand my Chinglish?

Oku station near the northern tip of Okinawa reported a peak gust of 45.8 m/s (89 kt, 102 mph) at 13:42 local time. That's the second 100+ mph peak gust report.

Our sliding glass door in our bedroom is cracked now. Glad we didn't sleep in there. My son is grabbing at his ears pretty much constantly. I'm ready for this one to be over now.

Pressure has risen at Naha by 0.1 hPa from one hour ago, could mean the brunt of the storm finally starting to move away.

Is it still windy? The eye is surely huge but also ragged, you can't expect a moment when it will be calm or intense. lol. I really think that another round of stormy weather will be up until tomorrow morning. If you think that the winds are "bearable", then just take your time to enjoy the wind event and to learn about fascinating typhoons like this one.

Just saying...I almost forgot that Muifa was in the makings of a supertyphoon, and this one is existing for such a long time now, and still above TY status.

I can't imagine what it must be like stuck in a storm like that for over 24 hours of TS-force winds...

Wow, that is fairly close to yesterday's prediction of 16-18 inches of rain. Wish some of that could be shipped into Texas!

it takes me almost 2 hours just to feed my mices, 1 hour 30 minutes to shower, 30 minutes to eat, 2 hours to watch a dvd, 5-6 hours of work, and so forth but 24 hours of tropical storm winds must be tiring, fun and boring at the same time lol
