They arrived at PBI about 4 PM today. :D

They are from Boynton Beach. Right now they are at Pete Rose Ballpark Cafe, for a celebration. They had limos waiting for them at the airport, they're getting gifts. Lucky kids.

Another case of Malaria in the news. :x This is the 5th case in a month. All the cases were in Lake Worth (the next town N of me). They caught some of the skeeters that carry the disease. Why don't they find somewhere else to live  Maybe they'll get rid of them sooner or later.

Congratulations to the Boynton Beach, Florida Little League Team!

Saugus, Massachusetts (located north of Boston) was in the Little League World Series Playoff Rounds. I believe they were knocked out Saturday. Last week, I watched several minutes of a game between these two teams; Boynton Beach, FL and Saugus, MA.

I must say I am a bit disappointed that they won since they beat my local team but congrats to them anyway :) :D .

Cool....congrats to them! It's fun watching the kids play.

Texas made it to the semi-finals and almost pulled it out against Maine. Maine won in extra innings though and then Florida knocked out Maine to go to the World Series. Well, at least we made it that far.

In 1994, I believe it was, the town bordering me to the south... Middleboro, Massachusetts played in the final game of the Little League World Series; although they lost, they made it to the end. :)
