It's for a video project I doing on how dangerous Hurricanes can be. Thanks in advance to anyone who has anything. I can find lots of stuff on a storm by storm basis, but not an overview.

Here's some excellent Louisiana hurricane information I found on the Lake Charles NWSFO website...

NHC
Try the NHC ftp site. Pash has some excellent videos from Hurricane Lili striking south Louisiana:
ftp://ftp.nhc.noaa.gov/pub/users/pasch
Look for "Falling_Tree2.avi" and "Truck_Blowing_Over.avi" to name a couple. He has lots of AVI and MPG video files there. You can also back off to the main "users" folder and search the other forecasters/researchers' sub-folders for nice video files of previous hurricanes.
Beware though, that excellent Falling Tree movie shot by KLFY TV-10 in Lafayette is 72+ MB. Better have high-speed Internet access if you're downloading those movies.

Ah the famous falling tree video played probably hundreds of times by our news station but it really is an awesome clip if you have 72mb to spare!
