been browsing the site since last year after typhoon ketsana hit us. just want to say that you all have been doing a great service to us since your predictions/assessments/discussion are very useful. keep up the good work and more power!

Hi to all S2K users and mods, I've been reading and enjoying the discussions here for at least a year now and today I came across this thread. Thank you all for the nice invitation that gave me the thought of signing up immediately. ;-)

I believe that there aren't too much storm trackers up here in Northern Germany but I still hope that one day I will have the chance to "enjoy" a hurricane, even though that won't happen to me at this latitude :-P

Hi everybody

I'm a newly registered Typhoon&Hurricane fans from mainland China. As we meteorological amateur have all got an impression of Strom2k and the sophisticated analysis and warm discuss here, maybe few of you knows a similar bbs in China called TYBBS with a history of 9 years and 40 thousands id.

I'm not advertising, I just wanna have more contact with you guys and hope we have some more communication with each other to get more imformation and feelings, and finally enjoy more happiness in chasing the strom. :cheesy:

I've been lurking since we moved to Taiwan 3 years ago, and finally decided to register. This site has been a great source of information during our (frequent) typhoons over the last few years--thanks to all!

I've been interested in Typhoons since I was 10, I am now 23. Living on Guam, I get to ride out very strong typhoons. I found this site while looking for good weather forums because I think that's the best part of a weather website. I've been monitoring this website for 2 years before I join but after joining in 2004, I've been more of a guest lol because I rarely log on but I do read everything :wink:

There was a server issue where all IP addresses starting in 81. were blocked. We've corrected that issue and apologize that you couldn't get on the site. Welcome back and have a safe season :-)
