FROM GALVESTON TO MORGAN CITY, WATCH THE GULF

#1 Postby rayNportarthur » Thu Aug 28, 2003 8:31 pm

JUST CHECKING OUT THE LATEST IMAGES OF THE DISTURBANCE IN THE CARRIBEAN, THIS SYSTEM IS SHOWING A VERY GOOD OUTFLOW AND SOME NICE BANDING FEATURES, DONT BE SURPRISED IF ITS UPGRADED TO A TROPICAL STORM AT 11P.M., SURE DOES LOOK LIKE A LOW LEVEL CIRCULATION HAS FORMED! THE UPPER TEXAS AND LA. COAST WILL LIKELY HAVE A CAT.1 OR POSSIBLY 2 MAKING LANDFALL LATE ON LABOR DAY.....KEEP A EYE ON LOCAL STATEMENTS IN THAT AREA!

I'll say TD#11 tomorrow morning... if this convection persists and continues to organize like this.
