974 mb this time before NC...maybe it isnt going to get as strong as once thought. also looks like more a wilmington swipe this time.

Through 39h, 12Z GFS looks to be faster and to the right of the 06Z run.

It looks like all the models are agreeing that this is going to slam into my house in CT.... :double: :eek: Got all my stuff prepared today from the checklist though.

The gfs is not budging, I think the track the NHC will probably stick right now, I think the models that are too far west like the GFDL and Euro will come a bit further east and ones that are a bit too far west will come further west and ultimately converge on the NHC track with either a 10-20 miles east to west spread on either side of the current track.

Was trying to play with the Wundermap to look closer at the GFS but one of us was kicking the other's butt, so I didn't get a real solid look; but it seems like after 36h or so, any cross-track difference with the 06Z disappears; difference becomes along track; hitting points slightly quicker.. Landfall just east of Moorehead City at 54h followed by a run up the Atlantic coast.
